Welcome To
DNJ Dilemma

The online game of cooperation and betrayal!
STOP PRESS:
The winner of the second round of our DNJ Dilemma competition is Manuela
André of Castelo Branco in Portugal! Congratulations Manuela on your superb
score of 1,315, which wins you a LEGO MINDSTORMS Robotics Invention
System (RIS) 1.5!
DNJ Dilemma is an online version of Iterated
Prisoner's Dilemma which has been written for us by Paul
Stephens. Prisoner's Dilemma is a game which is studied by psychologists and sociologists
all over the world, and is claimed by some to have been the basis of
Superpower military strategy during the Cold War! It's a game of deceptive
simplicity; you can learn to play it in a couple of minutes, but formulating
good strategies - and deciding what your goals are - can take much longer.
DNJ Online offers you three versions of the Dilemma Game:
DNJ Dilemma Standard Edition
Play against the computer, or watch the computer plays against itself.
DNJ Dilemma Tournament Edition
Pit a computer strategy against groups of other strategies.

See if you can get a better score than your competitors!

Alternatively, you can read
about DNJ Dilemma before playing it (you can also view these pages
from the Help button on the game pages), or you can find out how the game
was written in our Inside DNJ Dilemma guide!
