Remote access with voice or fax
July 6 - If your interest is
telecommunications, why not visit the Brooktrout Technology stand. The company is
exhibiting its TR-IRAS product, which is claimed to be the first platform to enable
software producers, system developers and service providers to combine remote access with
intelligent fax or voice applications on a single server sharing one E1 (2.048Mbps)
communications line.
The first application introduced will combine remote access
with intelligent fax. A key component of TR-IRAS is the Policy Manager API (PMAPI) which
allows applications to perform intelligent call handling and telephony resource
management.
Brooktrout Technology is also showing its TR114a Series
Universal Port boards, which offer full fax and voice processing on a single multichannel
board, eliminating the need for separate fax and voice hardware.
Visit stand H11 for more details or see www.brooktrout.com. The company can be contacted on
