TechEd 99 - Six reasons to be there

To make unfair comparisons with TechEd 98, which was held in Nice, France.
To take the opportunity to complain about the weather (see above).
To suggest a quick jaunt down to the beach, before remembering in a loud voice that you are not in Nice, France.
To get through the four days without letting anyone know you weren't in Nice this time last year.
To concentrate on the technical sessions, taking advantage of the fact that you are not in Nice and so don't have the delights of the French Riviera to distract you (feel free to point this out to everyone you meet).
To enjoy being in Amsterdam, which is quite possibly a nicer place than your office.
